Recent Lush purchases + Lush Bunch of Carrots | Review

HI!

Since my last Lush post I have returned to the store and I picked up 2 of the things that were listed there as things I wanted to try, plus a limited edition item for Easter!

I got the Butterball bath bomb, Avobath bath bomb, and the Bunch of Carrots reusable bubble bar!



Butterball $4.95:  I picked this bad boy up because I (to my surprise) LOVED the Butterbear that I had gotten in a gift box around Christmas time! I only have a little stub of the bear left *tears* and the bomb is the same thing, just not shaped like a bear!

I love this because it really makes my skin soft, without leaving a greasy residue. I love the smell too... it smells like vanilla and cocoa butter which is like a dream! 

Avobath $6.35: Oh how I have been waiting so long to get my hands on this! FINALLY!! I was interested in getting this bath bomb because when I first smelled it I fell in love, but also because it is skin softening and helps to beat the brain fog, which is exactly what I need. In my opinion, the scent is super clean and uplifting (thanks to the lemongrass).

I tried it already, but being me I can't force myself to drop the entire bomb into the bath.... I just feel like I'm wasting it! I know, I know... that's how you're supposed to do it but I just can't. Instead I carved away at it a little bit and I can tell it is just not the same as when you use the whole thing (or at least half) in the bath.

Bunch of Carrots $12.95 (limited edition): Ok, are these just not so freaking adorable?!?!

Contrary to what you may believe, these do not smell like carrots. Instead, they have a pleasant fruity/lemony smell to them that is nice and spring-like! They are considered "reusable", and all you have to do it swish the bunch back and forth in the water a couple of times and set it aside for later use! I did not create as many bubbles as I expected, but it was still nice! Plus it's fun to swish back and forth :)

The Butterball and the Avobath are in the permanent line, however the Bunch of Carrots bubble bar has been released as part of their Easter line, so get it while you can! There are many other adorable products in the Easter line as well, so you can go to their website (here) to check them out! I really liked the "Bubblegrub" bubble bar, however I could not stand the smell, so I didn't get the little guy :( I was so sad that the scent wasn't something I liked...
